Bem Wireless introduces new portable, foldable projector

Bem Wireless has launched the Kickstand, a portable projector with an integrated kickstand. The foldable product can be tossed into a briefcase.

The projector can take a tiny image from your smartphone, iPad or USB drive, and project it up to 90 inches across in high-definition (720p) -- even on the ceiling, says Bryan Katzel, director of Marketing and Development for bem. The Kickstand boasts a unique patented mobile design complete with an anodized aluminum frame and bem’s signature soft touch finish, he adds.

There’s a hideaway directional swivel that allows for setup, and then folds back up for storage. An assimilated remote control also serves as a lens cover. On the back of the Kickstand you’ll find an HDMI port, USB port, and Auxiliary Audio Out for multiple connecting options.

The Kickstand is now available for pre-order on Kickstarter. It will retail for US$799.99, though you can get a reduced price by pre-ordering at http://tinyurl.com/lnzmp6d .
